Dries has written four books on Performance Management in Dutch. 

The first book "Performance Management: from measurement to management through the application of analytical intelligence" clearly responds to a need for literature on quantitative policy support. It was published in 2008. 

Meanwhile the book "Best Practices in Performance Management: does it work after all?" was published in 2010. 

To meet the need for supportive literature on change management in the implementation of quantitative policy support a third book was  published at LannooCampus titled "Systemic Performance Management: with people towards sustainable change" in 2012.

Since he took up the functions of lecturer in Strategic Management in 2012, he worked on his fourth book om "Strategic Performance Management" which was published in 2015.
