People are always reluctant to change. Every kind of change means a threat to everybody. It takes more than just a few presentations to really convince people to change. Performance Management initiatives should put much more emphasis on the possibility to make better decisions upfront. This means that we should clearly visualize improvements in the decision-making process through new ways of working, adding much more value than before. This is not an easy task, we need to identify the barriers that are the most blocking, identify ways of coping with these and demonstration the change that can be obtained by working differently using different tools and methodologies.
Understanding the new ways of working is one thing, do something about it another thing. Here we identify the need for change and the way that this change is initiated, executed and maintained. We need to go to a higher stable dynamic equilibrium through state-of-the-art tooling and ways of working.
