Despite all technical infrastructure for decision-making many initiatives are not fully delivering on the promise due to the human factor. Understanding the way that decisions are made and the psychological hurdles that inhibit fact-based decision-making allows for a focused support and effective removal of politics.
Different psychological aspects are observed and recognized e.g. group thinking, success for the successful ones, the self-fulfilling prophecy. Getting a better view on these aspects allows for better understanding of the culture playing its role in the way decisions are made.
